I don’t know why i feel so much emotion over the death of a man I never knew….but yet when I cast a glance at my 3DS that is charging on my desk next to me….I can’t help but feel this deep sadness.

I remember my first handheld console was a purple Game Boy Advance which came with Warioland 4 when my dad bought it for me. That was my first introduction to Nintendo and video games in general.

All I know about Iwata was that he was a great man. He had done much for the gaming industry. That’s all I ever knew and will know. So why am I feeling so much emotion over the death of a man I never met.

Well I am not really sure. But all I can say is that I extend my deepest condolences to Nintendo and Iwata’s family and may he now find peace among the angels. I’ll make sure to take extra care of my 3DS from now on.
