Even in our deepest, darkest times of our lives, where we feel that life is terrible, that we cannot carry on any further…

That we do. Because even if it feels like you’ve hit a dead end, like you’ve lost your way, like you feel unloved and hated and you are treated awfully, just remember something.

You are never alone.

Our promise, the whole family of Rooster Teeth, should be that, no matter what, we will continue forward, and fight the good fight. For yourselves, for you friends, your families, everybody.

Especially for our inspiration and our friend, Monty Oum.

2015 is the year we lost two great inspirations in the Youtube community

Monty Oum of Rooster Teeth and Daniel Kyre of Cyndago

May these two souls have a great after life and may they watch us with great smiles upon their lips as they watch us accomplish great things in life. We have all been saddened by your passing. But we shall remember you both for the great things you have accomplished and all the smiles you have given us. My condolences go out to both your families and friends and other loved ones.

I have finally figured out how to honor Monty Oum

The news of Monty’s passing hit me hard. I can’t even scroll through Monty’s tag without feeling tears bubbling up. They said that insted of flowers we should do something creative insted. I tried to figure out a way to do so. I can’t draw nor can I make music or other things that are considered creative. But then it hit me. I’ve always wanted to write a book and get it published. 

I know who the main character will be. I am not sure some of you will think this is a great idea but I’ve decided to name the main character of my book after Monty. I know some of you will hate me for this but he will even have his talent for animating as well.

Some of you may tell me that this is no way of honoring a man who brought so much to the RT community but I think this is the best way of doing so. 

Monty if you can read this from heaven then I will make sure this book is the greatest thing people have ever read don’t you worry.

This pain you feel – that deep, gut-wrenching, soul-searing emptiness – it’s natural. It’s okay. That sadness, that sense of loss even though you didn’t know someone personally, it’s okay to feel. I wish I could give you a hug.

We’ve all lost a mentor, a creator.

But Monty isn’t gone. He never will be. 

He is still a force to be reckoned with. There are no physical limitations holding him back anymore. 

Channel him through your work, and your support of one another.
