So this is a post I havce bee wanting to make for a while. i cannot simpy put how amazing Fourze is into words. Well I am going to try in this post. Also beware of possible spoilers under the read more. Most of the information I used in this post are from the Kamen Rider Wikia and some blabs are from my own memories.

So Kamen Rider Fourze is the 22th over all Kamen Rider (13th Hesei era Rider ) which began airing September 4th, 2011 joining Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger (My favorite Sentai), later Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters in the Japanese Super Hero Time programming block.  The series commemorates not only the Kamen Rider Series’ 40th anniversary but also the 50th anniversary of spaceflight, which began with Yuri Gagarin’s Vostok 1 flight in 1961. The show’s catchphrase is “Switch on youth ‘cause space is here!”(青春スイッチオンで宇宙キター！ Seishun suitchi on de uchū kitā!), referencing the Fourze Driver transformation belt which gets its various powers from devices called Astroswitches to conjure attachments to Fourze’s limbs. As with the two previous series, the protagonist of Fourze made his debut in the annual summer film of the show’s direct predecessor, appearing in Kamen Rider OOO Wonderful: The Shogun and the 21 Core Medals.

Amanogawa High School has become the center of strange happenings, and things only get stranger when the bad boy styled transfer student Gentaro Kisaragi attempts to make friends in his own unique way, reuniting with childhood friend and self-professed space travel otaku Yuki Jojima, all while gaining the ire of loner Kengo Utahoshi. When the campus becomes overrun with monstrous constructs called Zodiarts, Kengo and Yuki attempt to use the strange devices they have found in the Rabbit Hatch lunar base that they access through a locker on an off-limits part of campus to fight them. However, Gentaro interferes in their plans, in part due to Kengo’s body unable to handle the strains of battle, and uses the devices to transform into Fourze. Upon learning of other heroes called Kamen Riders, Gentaro creates the Kamen Rider Club whose membership includes Yuki, Kengo, the school’s queen bee Miu Kazashiro, Miu’s jock ex-boyfriend Shun Daimonji, garishly styled social butterfly JK and goth girl Tomoko Nozama. Later joined by Ryusei Sakuta, a transfer student who transforms into Kamen Rider Meteor, and their teacher Mr. Chuta Ohsugi, the Kamen Rider Club and Kamen Rider Fourze learn of the Horoscopes, an evolved group of Zodiarts who have been orchestrating events on the school grounds to build up their ranks. As the battle escalates, the Horoscopes sets their motions to their final phase of their master plan before Kengo discovers his true existence.

Characters in Fourze (In the order Gentaro befriended them…if I remember it correctly)

Ok so i guess i’d start of with the  main Rider first before i intro duce y’all to the other characters

Gentaro Kisaragi (如月 弦太朗 Kisaragi Gentarō)^[1] is Kamen Rider Fourze (仮面ライダーフォーゼ Kamen Raidā Fōze), the main protagonist in the series of Kamen Rider Fourze. His name roughly says Forty, as well as a combination of "Four” and “Zero”, an indication of the Kamen Rider Series’ 40th Anniversary and the forty different powers and weapons he can access with the Astroswitches.

Gentaro is a second year student in Amanogawa High School, who has a delinquent Yankee-like appearance wearing a short jacket over a T-shirt and baggy pants, with his hair in a pompadour, rather than the clean cut uniform worn by other AGHS students; but is actually really friendly and wants to make friends with people in the school. He is willing to go the extra mile and do bizarre things to get to know someone he wants to befriend better. He puts friendship above anything else and values every friend that he has, to the point of crying hard whenever he hears a sad story of someone he considers a friend. He also has a special handshake he does with his friends and is commonly used when Gentaro makes a new friend. The reason he does so is because he wants to see that person he befriends smile, which is the best feeling one could have. He is generally very earnest and very thick-skinned, as well as not being very perceptive and at times, can actually be very dense. He is also prone to say things other people have a hard time comprehending, due to his unique and bizarre view in things. These quirky qualities are seen by others around him to be both annoying shortcomings and unusual strengths.

Gentaro lives with his grandfather Goro Kisaragi after his parents died in a traffic accident when Gentaro was in third grade. His parents had a job that (as Gentaro stated) went above both his and his grandfather’s head, but they were always proud when their son made friends. His father also told him that he needed to keep his friends close because they would eventually help him out in the long run.

Gentaro is shown to become increasingly adept in using the Kamen Rider Fourze system as the series progresses. He is shown to only be able to use conventional fighting moves, and has to rely on Kengo’s advice on which Astro switches to use in battle situations early in the series. As he gets increasingly used to fighting the Zodiarts, he learns how to devise strategies on the fly (though they do not always work and Kengo still needs to be around most of the time) and is seen to be using and changing Astro switches more often. He is shown to be very resourceful with the use of Switches as he learns how to utilize each one in unusual ways, such as using Limit Breaks of Launcher, Gatling and Fire Switches together to form a long range Limit Break finisher, and Limit Breaking the Rocket and Drill Switches twice when he cannot finish Scorpio off with just his usual Rider Rocket Drill Kick. When he has difficulty with properly using a Switch, he will take the time to understand it as he did with the Hopping Switch, ending up capable of using it as a weapon instead of just a tool.

History

After his parents died when he was in third grade, Gentaro was taken in by his grandfather Goro Kisaragi. The elder Kisaragi was a bike mechanic, and he and his grandson moved around a lot following the racing circuit (an experience Gentaro enjoyed) before moving back to the city where Gentaro initially lived with his parents. After reuniting with childhood friend Yuki Jojima, he tries to befriend loner Kengo Utahoshi, who goes out of his way to avoid him. When he slights Miu Kazashiro, Shun Daimonji begins to deal out “punishment” until a strange creature Yuki identifies as a Zodiarts appears. Gentaro begins to fight off the monster until Kengo arrives in the Powerdizer exo-suit, managing to keep the creature at bay, but leaving him physically drained. Kengo and Yuki head to an abandoned part of campus where they enter a locker that transports them to a lunar base known as the Rabbit Hatch. He prepares to use the devices left behind on the base, until Gentaro appears, having followed them into the locker. Gentaro takes the device from Kengo, who is still too tired to fight back. Gentaro faces off against the Zodiarts, but Yuki shows up to advise him on how to use the device he stole from Kengo. Gentaro activates the strange belt, transforming him into Kamen Rider Fourze for the first time. With Kengo’s instruction, Gentaro is able to defeat the Zodiarts, and he is begrudgingly allowed to keep the Fourze Driver in order to battle the Zodiarts menace. To cement his new friendship, Gentaro forms a Kamen Rider Club, with Yuki and Kengo as its first members while taking up the title Kamen Rider.

• Was taught by Gentarou that she can be herself around him and the other members of the KRC

• Likes magic and occult stuff

• Is sort of like a spiritual guide for the KRC

Kengo Utahoshi

• The one responsible for finishing his fathers work with Fourze and the Astro Switches a,k,a the tech nerd of the KRC

• Never had any intrest in having friends (That is until he met Gentarou) 

• Frequents the nurses office alot

Yuuki Jojima (This website needs more Fourze gifs)

• Wants to be an astronaut

• Has a plush of the japanese space satellite Hayabusa

• Is Gentarou’s childhood friend

Jingu Kaizo a.k.a JK (Pronounced Jake)

• The info dealer of the KRC

• Real good dancer

• Stole the Elec Switch from Gentarou as he was hunted by the Unicorn Zodiart

• But later reformed and jooined the KRC
