So I came up with this thing after I was inspired by asking-ask​‘s Gemsona AU so I decided to write this fic for her.

“Jon please let me protect you" Ryan pleaded.”I-I can’t stay Ryan…Grey Diamond’s orders are final…all Homeworld gems are to return to Homeworld..I-I love you” Jon said. Ryan looked at him “I am going to miss you” Ryan said.  “I am going to miss you too Ryan” Jon said.

That was the last thing he ever heard Jon say. Ryan sighed as he looked at his new form in the long mirror that was in the hallway. He didn’t bother to wipe the tears that was flowing down his face.

As the ending to our world progresses,
Twilight rays fall through the breaks in the clouds

Everyone looks for a meaning when they are born
Before the re-ray runs pass their fingertips

Because of this bright crimson sun burning back
It gives me daily proof that you can be loved

“I am weak…no one loves me” Jon said

“That’s not true…you are strong and I love you” Ryan said

“Thanks Ryan” Jon siad

Ryan snapped out of his flashback as he looked behind him to see Gavin and Michael were standing behind him, both wearing worried expresions on their faces. “Ryan we know you miss him but there is no way we can save him” Michael said softly. “WHAT DO YOU KNOW!?!?!?!?!?!? YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND…GREY DIAMOND IS DOING GODS KNOWS WHAT TO JON AND I…..I am not there to save him…I-I promised I would protect him…” Ryan said “I know you would but there is nothing we can do” Gavin said.

Who can decide whether justice or evil can stay inside you?

“Jon come to the ship NOW” Burnie demanded. Jon looked t Ryan and the other AH Gems and then back at Burnie. “No I’ve decided to stay on Earth with Ryan and the others and there is nothing you can do to make me go back to Homeworld” Jon said. “Very well then…I never wanted it to come to this” Burnie said summoning his weapon. Jon nor the others had a time to react before Jon was poofed and taken back onboard the Homeworld ship.”JON NO!!! Geoff let me save him…please.” Ryan pleaded. “ It’s not worth getting poofed for” Geoff said holding Ryan back. Ryan stopped struggling as he watched the ship take off and go back to Homeworld.

Ryan sat outside the house they took refuge in when they arrived on Earth. The tears quite evident on his face. “Why…why didn’t they let you stay” he said softly to himself.

Being loved, tears dropping on your arm
Who can decide whether justice or evil can stay inside you?

Ryan couldn’t…wouldn’t stop crying. He had failed to protect the one he cared about the most and now he is gone forever. “Jon please try to escape…just please so we can be reunited once more” Ryan prayed for Jon.

My beginnings, for example…

Ryan couldn’t stop remembering. Remembering how they first met. Their first kiss…and their separation. The memories pained him very much. All he could do was scream and scream he did. He kept on screaming and screaming until his lungs had no more oxygen.
