People think this is just a joke but Alan Turing was the inventor of the computer and his sexuality was illegal in his time (which was not even 100 years ago) and he was arrested. They put him on drugs that destroyed his genius brain and committed suicide a year after being covicted. He was gay and a war hero as well. He helped to break enigma which was a German code that they put all their messages through. He shorted WWII by two years and saved so many lives in the process.

Also, to anyone using an Apple product, you know that cool lil’ logo that Apple uses? well, that Apple has a bite out of it because after he invented the computer and decoded the Nazi enigma in one swoop he was convicted of gross indecency (being gay) and forced to take estrogen as a punishment. he killed himself in 1954 by eating a poison apple.
It’s also why the logo for Apple was rainbow for a while and those colors inspired the spinning-wheel-of-death you see when your computer freezes.
Hello, I am writing this update to explain that for me this surgery is not just a surgery. It is a life saving procedure. I suffer from intense gender dysphoria but I also need this surgery to be my complete self, who I always wanted to be. Please help give me me that chance if you can spare a donation. Hey, please consider sending a few bucks if you have any to spare Susie’s way. She is working really hard to save up for surgery but unfortunately it’s hard to save while struggling to get by overall. Donations have slowed and with the current political climate in the states it’s imperative she be able to access gender affirming surgery asap. Susie has expressed this surgery is what she needs to complete her transition and has been a goal for her most of her life. She gives so much back to her community through care and volunteer work, peer counselling, supporting those with addictions and former prisoners reintegrating into the a outside a world, all in addition to tirelessly fighting for LGBT causes and now needs our support in return.
Susie is also now taking care of her disabled brother full time while maintaining a job and doing work in her community. It’s as crucial as ever she gets some support so she can save up for her surgery.
Susie recently had her 60th birthday and often has trouble keeping faith that she will reach her goal. Please please continue to share and donate!
