I can’t believe I’m living in a time when people are getting triggered by fictional cartoon ships. That just blows my mind honestly. Like you can’t just ignore what strangers on the internet decide to do? You have to butt in and try and stop it? This is why everyone makes fun of your generation. Because back when I was young, fandoms ignored ships they didn’t like, or had ship wars, but it was all pretty much harmless fun. No one equated cartoon characters with their abusive fathers. No one was threatening suicide or murder. We shipped what we liked, and abuse was never ‘normalized’, because kids actually had an understanding between fiction and reality. So I’m still wondering what the hell happened.

So get a grip.
