Kind of goes with themerrywolf’s hc that most hybrids tend to be sterile. How about that this applies to the Galra, who happen to be one of the strongest species, in a different way. Whether or not a Galra hybrid is sterile depends on not only the healthy of the other parent but also what species they are/how similar their genetics are to Galra (ex: humanoid, environment of their planet/where they grew up, etc)? (1/?)

Hc: Keith isn’t sterile because these factors are in his favor but it just takes a lot of tries to have a kid. Keith & Lance’s chance to have kid are higher during his heat or mating season. But since Shiro & their friends are overprotective/believe they should wait a little longer before starting a family, keith & lance have to either sneak into each others room/come up with different ways to deal/control their urges. Then a few weeks b4 Lance’s birthday, Keith & Lance finally get some alone time. They just lose themselves in eacher’s scent, voice & touch. On Lance’s birthday, Keith surprises Lance with the news that they’re gonna be parents. Lance picks Keith up & kisses him repeatedly, then puts him down so he can kiss Keith’s stomach. Hunk, Coran & Shiro kind of compete to be the godfather of the klance baby. Allura is happy & Pidge congradulates them & splits the money she won from the bet with them(3/3)
