Y’know, Markiplier is getting hate because he said ‘Kill it…’ in response to some fanart, some well done fanart mind you.  However, I’m positive he’s in no way commenting on the actual work on it, but the content.  Everyone seems to forget that outside of Steven Universe, the fusion of two people into a four-armed, four-eyed being that speaks in a dual-voice is not ‘romantic’, it’s terrifying.  And this is a guy who 80% of his channel is horror games.  Plus, with the way he banters with Jack, there’s an added gag of he’d rather be dead than fused with him.

In other words…everyone calm down.  You’ve turned Mark into this infallible god-figure/pet who you expect to just either not comment on some of the frankly terrifying fanart, or bathe you in adoration.  It’s dishonest, and frankly disrespectful, to A) not accept or expect criticism from your ‘idol’ as much as accepting or expecting praise and B) it’s a tad naive to believe a simple ‘kill it…’ from a comedian gaming youtuber is a full and legitimate critique of all your work past, present, and future.

Thank you….I never wanted to believe Mark was a bad guy
