Wonder how it all begins? 
Before falling into the Lich’s realm, it was Gavin and Michael’s duty to go about the land and discover new monuments, have adventures in spooky dungeons, explore caves, abandoned mines, and fight the occasional bad guy. They report back to Geoff, who utilizes their finds for the greater good of the land. It was during one of these adventures where they stumble upon the treasure that eventually awakens as the Lich. 

While Michael favors the diamond greatsword, Gavin is a pretty skilled archer and often lights his arrows on fire before shooting.
