Free! Eternal Summer Episode 9
Ok I got to admit there are a few things bugging me and some things I liked about this episode of ES. First of all why didn’t we see a flashback of what caused Sousuke’s shoulder injury? Like some backstory of how and when Sousuke hurt his shoulder. Just revealing it using Kisumi like that in the previous episode didn’t do it any justice.
Like in the previous episode it seems like Kisumi knew what happened. So why didn’t he tell Makoto and Haru? Second Momotaro…I know he’s suppoused to be funny and all about this silly little crush on Gou…but don’t you guys think he’s like Johnny Bravo when he tries to impress Gou like that? Also Hru and Rin’s argument in the locker room…wow..it’s the first time I’ve seen Harau show so much emotion.
Now we call all agree that this was our favorite scene:

Also..I finally understood what Haru meant by Free!. He didn’t want to be bound by rules and stuff. He wanted to swim freely without any bounds. He wanbted to be free like the dolphin.

DRAMAtical Murder Episode 8
Now in this episode there is a lot of things bugging me.
So in episode 7 we get to see Koujaku go total feral animal on us. He killed that tattoo artist for crying out loud and in episode 8 the one I am talking about right now we finally get to know what made Noiz…well Noiz.
So the epiode starts with this guy I am assuming is Aoba’s ater ego Sly Blue talking:
As I have never played the DMMD games but only seen gameplay videos on YouTube I can say this bit creeped me out. Why the fuck is he naked? Why couldn’t he be dressed. Anyway that resulted in Aoba waking up and seeing Noiz Also what does Toue mean by “luring him out”? Is Aoba a part of hi elaborate plan to brainwash people? Seriously what is this anime even?
Now the second thing I’d like to adress is this:
Why didn’t Aoba realize that Noiz couldn’t feel pain sooner? If I had a friend like Noiz who couldn’t feel pain I would’ve noticed it right away. Like Aoba wasn’t this dense in the games…right?
Now skipping ahead to the apart where Noiz chased this guy:
WHO ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU SINGING A DISTORTED VERSION OF CLEAR’S JELLYFISH SONG?
Seriously this creeped me even more than the beginning scene of the episode. It made Noiz go beserk and attack Aoba which made him use scrap. Now this is the part where we get to know Noiz a bit better. We know that his parents abandoned him because they brought him misfortune and how he was forced to live on his own. But this particular moment bugged me. I thought im my opinion that Aoba used scrap too soon on Noiz.
Like the guy with the mask could’ve waited a few episodes with brainwashing Noiz so Aoba didn’t have to use Scrap on him. It was very anticlimatic to be honest.
Well this is all I had to say I guess.
One last thing.
I do kinda like that the characters get their own individual ending…but what happened to Bowie Knife? Wasn’t it awesome enough or what?
