#ten and eleven#are so connected#eleven is the direct result of ten#I’m not trying to say that the other incarnations aren’t direct results of each other#because they most definitely are#but being an eleven roleplayer#i have to look at it like this#that ten was so human and so open with his emotions#that he let everything get to him#he had a hard time moving on from his losses#he took a plummet in fear of his own demise#his time lord victorious gave him so much guilt#and self hatred for what he did#not to mention his actions from the time war#that it so profusely affected him it carried on straight through into eleven#with eleven’s extreme self loathing#and low self esteem#his deep seated rage and anger#covered up by a childlike facade as a way to block his emotions and keep the things that hurt him out#but when that failed#he broke and he broke hard
